Goal Setting in Green Care
The purpose of this course is to introduce professionals, practitioners, and anyone who is interested in goal setting and related activities in nature-based approaches to health and well-being to the benefits of goal setting, the principles of a properly conceived goal setting process, and a wide range of themes of practice.
In this course, the learning content is intended to be as engaging as possible. For this reason, we have chosen to rely heavily on narrated slideshows, interviews with leading Green Care practitioners. There are also ample links to further reading and learning and opportunities to participate in forum discussions. The presentations in this course add up to around 4.5 hours in length. When combined with the additional activities and reading, the course carries a total recommended learning time of at least 7-8 hours. Because of the flexible layout of the course, the course can be studied in shorter blocks of time.
To aid accessibility, a transcript of each of the main presentations can be found as a txt document underneath the main course videos.
And a presentation containing the main slides used in the course is provided under the heading ‘course documents’.
